Mourning Mail is available to women 18 and older who have lost their mothers and wish to request cards for themselves.
NOTE: If we receive multiple requests from different individuals with the same mailing address, we will send only one card to that address. We also do NOT send to P.O. Boxes or businesses.

You can request Mourning Mail twice per calendar year.

Currently, Mourning Mail is available only to women whose mothers have passed, and wish to request cards for themselves. We want to honor the personal nature of grief, allowing each woman the space and control to seek support when she feels ready.
If you know someone who might benefit from our service, we invite you to let them know about us, so they can reach out when it feels right for them.

Mourning Mail is completely free of charge.
Our mission is to provide support and comfort to women who have lost their mothers, and we believe that financial barriers should not prevent anyone from receiving the care they need. If you feel moved to support our work, donations are always appreciated, but there is no cost to request a card.
If you would like to make a monetary or in-kind gift, please reach out via the contact form. Thank you!
IMPORTANT: Monetary donations and in-kind gifts are NOT tax deductible because we are not a 501(c)(3) organization nor are we a non-profit organization.
